Special Ramadan at Palalada and Waroeng Kopi

 To welcome the holy month of Ramadan, Palalada and Waroeng Kopi at Alun Alun present special set menus which can be enjoyed starting on June 8 – July 5, 2016 (Ramadan menu) and 6 – 7 July 2016 (Eid special menu).

Palalada’s Ramadan Menu A consists of Kolak (traditional dessert with palm sugar and coconut cream) for iftar, followed by Nasi Uduk (Betawi style steamed rice cooked in coconut milk dish) as the main course with side dishes such as Semur Iga Sapi Kentang (Indonesian stew), Gurame Goreng Sambal Mangga (fried gourami with mango sambal), Tempe Goreng Tepung (fried tempeh), Teri Kacang (anchovy with peanuts), Acar Kuning (vegetable pickle) dan Lalapan (raw vegetable salad). The dessert is Es Palalada. As for the Ramadan Menu B, it consists of Kolak (traditional dessert with palm sugar and coconut cream), followed by main course Nasi Daun Jeruk served with side dishes, such as Empal Gepuk (Indonesian sweet and spicy fried beef), Ayam Woku Suwir (chicken woku), Sambal Goreng Udang (Prawn with chili sauce), Tempe Orek (tempeh stir fried with sweet soy sauce), Tumis Nangka Muda (sautéed young jackfruit) and Matah Sambal. For the dessert, you can try the Serabi Es Puter. The price for these two menus is Rp120.000,++ /person.

Waroeng Kopi also has two special menus for Ramadan. The first one consists of Kolak for iftar, followed by Nasi Uduk (Betawi style steamed rice cooked in coconut milk dish) for the main course served with side dishes, such as Ayam Goreng Ungkep (Indonesian fried chicken), Semur Telor Pindang (pindang eggs), Tahu Tempe Goreng (fried tempeh and tofu), Bihun Goreng (fried rice noodles) and Lalapan (raw vegetable salad). As for the dessert, we serve Es Selendang Mayang. A little bit different, Waroeng Kopi’s Ramadan Menu B consists of Kolak for iftar, continued with Nasi Kuning Campur (Indonesian yellow rice) for the main course with side dishes, such as Ayam Suwir Sambal Matah (chicken with matah sambal), Sambal Goreng Ati Ampela (beef liver in chili and coconut milk), Bihun Goreng (fried rice noodles), Perkedel (Indonesian fried patties) and Emping (cracker). The dessert is Es Podeng. The price for these two menus is Rp95.000.++/person. It’s very affordable.

Ramadan maincourse B Waroeng Kopi

Palalada serves special Eid menu, which consists of Ketupat served with Rendang Bukittinggi (spicy meat dish originated from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra), Ayam Opor Sambal Ijo (chicken cooked in coconut milk with green chili sambal), Gulai Daun Singkong (cassava leaves curry), Bakwan Jagung (corn fritter), Emping (crackers) and Sambal. The dessert is Es Tape Palalada and the drink is Es Buah Segar. The price for this menu is Rp 120.000,++/person.

As for Waroeng Kopi, the Eid menu consists of Ketupat served with Sambal Goreng Udang Bumbu Kuning (prawn in chili and yellow spice paste), Ayam Bakar Woku Ijo (woku grilled chicken with green chili), Sambal Goreng Perintil, Sayur Labu (pumpkin curry), Tahu Telur (tofu and egg) and Kerupuk Bawang (cracker). The beverage is Es Timun Suri and the dessert is Pudding Tape Ijo Sauce Santan. You can enjoy this menu only with Rp95.000,++/person (Grand Indonesia) and Rp85.000,++/person (Central Park Mall and Mall @ Alam Sutra).

Alun Alun Indonesia also presents variant of special products and fashion items to celebrate Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, starting from 6 June to 10 July 2016. Hampers are available at Olah-Oleh and Wrapp.Inc corners. As for fashion, some brands will present special collections. They are Sejauh Mata Memandang, Giffa Indonesia, Larrisa Duliar, Moshaict (Itang Yunasz), Nosa’s, Natalia Liu, Tenun Gaya, Tanda Mata and Azura. In addition, KATH’s & CO, Bubble Girl, Petitulun, Saudagar and Simply Idea will offer special kidswear collections.

Apart from that, we also have another special program to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr from 1-6 July 2016. Customers will get a gift voucher worth Rp100.000,- with minumum purchase of Rp1.000.000,-.
