Things to Do in Jakarta: Bounce it Away at Houbii Urban Adventure Park

There’s a new way to get fit in Jakarta.

Even better, it’s probably going to be the most fun thing you’ll have ever done in a while! Did you know that you can burn up to 400 calories per hour jumping on trampolines?

We’ve seen a couple of similar ‘park’ in North of Jakarta, Amped Trampoline Park and Bounce Street Asia, both in the north of Jakarta. But for those living in the south, finally, a spot to do some serious fun jumping is here.

Houbii, is an ‘urban adventure park’ located in Pondok Indah, just a short walk away from Pondok Indah Mall 1. When they say adventure park, it is quite suiting because Houbii is not just trampolines. It mixes multiple courses and play area that mix sports and play in a single indoor venue. Having been opened for less than a year, Houbii has attracted fun seekers literally from all ages to jump around in their multiple fun courses’.

If you think that this sort of thing is a kids thing. Think again, and better yet, try it at least once. What’s unique about Houbii is that all the courses are both kids friendly, but still would be extremely fun for adults too.

One that will catch your attention is the ropes course that lets you hang and swing from ropes and hoops. The ninja course will let you channel your inner Ninja Warrior with fun obstacles that might look tame, but actually quite the task, even for adults. A little more extreme is the Xtreme Slide, the first ever 90 degrees big slide that will let you slide off from 7 meters high slide. A favorite among kids is the foam pit that is overflowing with square squishy foams.

In the trampoline area, there are enough trampolines that will ensure everyone gets to bounce, no matter how crowded it is in the park. Although to ensure maximum comfort and safety, Houbii limits its capacity to 300 people, meaning in an hour, the number of people playing in the park doesn’t exceed that number.

The trampoline area isn’t only for jumping too; you can do group activities such as Dodge Ball arena, and the Slam Dunk hoops that will let you dunk a basketball while jumping off the trampoline.

The price is by the 2 hours, which is Rp. 225,000 for adults, and Rp. 180,000 for kids 3-5-year-old or below 110cm.

For safety, all visitors are required to wear a special extra grip socks, and at all times, we notice there are stewards around you to ensure the visitors’ safety precautions are followed and for a quick response in any case of injury.

A tip: if you don’t mind some late night bouncing, best way to enjoy Houbii is to join the Houbii Night party every Friday night where the lights go off and the disco lights turn on, and you can bounce yourself knackered to the fine tunes of Jakarta’s DJs for four hours straight, from 7 to 11 pm, FOR only for Rp. 225,000/2 persons. That’s quite a deal if you ask me.
