To celebrate the Valentine’s day, Sunday 14 February 2016, the Hotel Public Relations Association and a number of media friends held ‘Bling and Sharing’, a secondhand items’ bazaar in front of the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta during the Car Free Day, which proceed will go to Sanggar SIBUK, a foundation for homeless children that cares about the local Betawi culture.
The bazaar made Rp. 3,000,000,- which was handed over at the same day to the kids of Sanggar SIBUK that also participated by doing a Betawi musical performance and ‘Ondel-ondel’ dance during the bazaar. This program can hopefully be done regularly to help those in need.
The “Bling & Sharing” team would like to thank Hotel Mandarin Oriental Jakarta that provided a place for the venue, James Berhitoe as Executive Assistant Manager of Hotel Mandarin Oriental Jakarta the participating members of Hotel Public Relations Association, donators, and those who have supported the program.
