2. Marlupi Dance Academy

Founded by Marlupi Sijangga in 1956, Marlupi Dance Academy (MDA) is one of the oldest and disciplined ballet schools in the country.  Under the direction of Fifi Sijangga, Marlupi’s daughter, the Academy has achieved an international and national reputation as one of the preeminent dance academies in Indonesia since 1995.

MDA’s curricula consist of various types of dance including classical ballet (technique, pas de deux, variations, point), modern dance, jazz, hip hop and fitness (body conditioning – strength – core exercise).

3. Namarina Ballet

With 7 branches in Jakarta, Namarina is one of the biggest and most popular ballet school in Jakarta. The school was founded in 1956 by Nanny Lubis who was later followed by Maya Tamara as Principal / Artistic Director.

Ade Rayanti School of Ballet is a ballet school in Tanah Kusir – Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, with 2 branches at Kemang Pratama – Bekasi and Bintaro. Established on 1967 by Ade Rayanti, Ade Rayanti School of Ballet is specializing in Classical Ballet. The curriculum is based on Vaganova System from Russia. In 1979, Ade Rayanti School of Ballet got Patronage from Alexis Rassine – London.
