This classification lists 87 exceptional wineries that include red wine from Bordeaux’s Medoc region and white wine from Bordeaux’s Sauternes region. Two more important wine classifications of Bordeaux are the Graves region classification (1953) and Saint Emilion region classification (1955), of which three wineries from these two classifications will be present in this year’s Bordeaux Rendezvous.

As France’s largest controlled wine growing region, Bordeaux is home to an estimated 10,000 wineries. As such, the three wine classifications mentioned above are often used by many wine lovers around the world to identify the very best wines that Bordeaux has to offer.
