Gran Melia opened the festive season with fashion show by Widhi Budimulia – 3 December 2015, one of Indonesia’s leading fashion designers. Entitled Inspired by Red, the event was also glittered by fanfare from the sound of Grand Harp by Patricia Budimulia, the angelic voice of a children’s choir, and an orchestra headed by B. Tamam Hoesein serenading guests with Christmas songs. The grand finale of the event was the lighting of the hotel’s 6 meter tall Christmas light located at the hotel’s entrance by Christine & Reggy Suriadjaja as owners, and General Manager, Mrs. Ruth Abellan.
