Celebrating Freedom at IFCCI Beaujolais Nouveau 2015

After a considerate delay in the wake of the November Paris bombing, the 2015 IFCC Beaujolais Nouveau was finally held on 11 December 2015 to celebrate the biggest French tradition of enjoying a free flow of the purple-pink Beaujolais Nouveau wine bottled only 6-8 weeks after its harvest. Held every year on the 3rd Thursday of November, over 65 million bottles are distributed and drunk around the world.

In Indonesia, Indonesian-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), was once again organized Beaujolais Nouveau event in Jakarta at Le Meridien’s Sasono Mulyo Ballroom. In a lavish French atmosphere, IFCCI gathered its partners, members and distinguished guests to savour this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau and celebrate French culture, tradition and outstanding French gastronomy prepared at the kitchen of Le Meridien.

This year, The food includes a large number of French cheese, cold cuts and various dishes from different French provinces and a free flow of two types of Georges Duboeuf wine was served free flow to the guests: the AOC Beaujolais Nouveau and the AOC Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau.
