Cinemaxx, Indonesia’s recent addition of cinema chain operating since 2014 recently announced its latest invention in movie watching, Cinemaxx Junior, the very first cinema in Indonesia that is designed specially for children.
Located in its flagship location in Maxx Box Lippo Village, Karawaci, in this Cinemaxx, 3-10 years old can enjoy not only their favourite movies, but also a mini playground with activities with play bridge, flying fox, giant trampoline, ball pit, climbing trees to mini hammocks. There is also be an area specifically for toddlers, that consists of soft play elements to ensure the young children’s safety. Children can also choose to enter the cinema using a fun tube slide.
The play area
To give the kids plenty of time to play, doors will open one hour prior to show time. Because of this extra play time, a session at Cinemaxx Junior will take approximately 2.5 hours. Children can enjoy films from a variety of seating options, such as bean bags, loungers, cinema seats, or sofa beds for two.
Other features of Cinemaxx Junior include: special Junior Meals menu, goodie bag, as well as special Cinemaxx Junior merchandise.
In its daily programming of three showtimes per day, Cinemaxx Junior will screen a selection of international and Indonesian movies with great stories targeted specifically for young audiences. Tickets will be priced at Rp 100,000 for the duration of the promo period. All children above 3 years old will need a ticket to enter, and all children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
