The Jakarta Provincial Government is still figuring out new ways to replace the ‘three-in-one’ strategy. One of the alternatives that surfaced was to change it into ‘four-in-one’ that will only be applied in weekday afternoon (from 4 to 8pm). As this has yet to be decided, we will now for sure what will be enforced after the end of three in one suspension trial, on May 14th 2016. Do you think this method will make a difference? Jakarta is in the running to be chosen as a finalist in the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour City Challenge campaign, The Jakarta Globe reports. Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama expressed his hope that the campaign would influence the city’s residents to better participate in cleaning up the city and making it more environment friendly. The campaign will run from April 26 to June 19, with the results expected to be announced on June 22.
