grandkemang Jakarta had successfully made the Easter Care Brunch as a day full of food and fun on last March 27, 2016! The festivity was held at Sperta Dining attended by up to 100 guests including adults and children. It was always great to see all happy family faces from year to year.
The children were amused by the exciting activities from “my robot time” such as build a robot, soccer robot competition, basketball robot, and sumo robot battle. Grandkemang had also prepared other fun activities to entertain their afternoon with movie corner, cookies decorating and for sure the highlight of the children’s activities; egg hunting! Eggs were hid all over the lobby area. Chaos was to be expected as children competed against each other and stumbled on their own feet.
This brunch was the beginning of grandkemang’s charity program in 2016 in collaboration with The National Movement for Foster Parents (GN-OTA) by donating 20% from Easter Brunch purchase to the Public Elementary School Bangka 06 PG. From the total fund collected, grandkemang had contributed to support 30 children from 3rd to 6th grade.
The handing donation ceremony to the school as symbolic gesture was done by Mr. Florent Humeau as the Hotel Manager of grandkemang Jakarta on April 5, 2016 and witnessed by GN-OTA. The visit was greeted happily by the teachers and foster students. This charity program will continue on the upcoming Ramadan until Christmas this year.
