Britain’s Chef Gary Rhodes Charmed the Audience at The Dharmawangsa Hotel

Last Friday marks the first day of GREAT Britain Food and Drink Festival, celebrated with a cooking exhibition by the Notable British Michelin-starred Chef Gary Rhodes, who has established famous restaurants around the world, and is famous for such TV shows as MasterChef, Hell’s Kitchen, and his own series, Rhodes Around Britain.

As an ambassador for British cuisine, he has reintroduced Britain to its rich gastronomic heritage and uncovered a culinary culture to rival that of any other country in the world.

In the cooking show held at the lush and beautiful terrace of The Dharmawangsa’s Jakarta Restaurant, Chef Gary Rhodes charmed the audience along with Chef Felix Budisetiawan, the hotel’s executive chef.

In this warm and genial event, guests were presented with a couple of exciting menu: Red mullet with fennel and sambal kecombrang and a dessert of Raspberry clafoutis.

In this event, Chef Gary expressed his gratitude and excitement to be able to share with the Indonesian people, the richness of British cuisine and the warmth of its people.
