Mesa Hotels & Resorts “Safety Week”

From September 7 – 11, 2015, Mesa Hotels and Resorts conducted a 5 (five) days seminar on the importance of standard regulations and safety issues in businesses and companies. Through all their properties in Jakarta, Central Java and Bali, MESA invited the speakers who were expertise in their professional and shared the important aspects and influence factors of regulations and safety in the workplace to our hoteliers and external industries within the same area.

In grandkemang Jakarta, the last day of seminar was dedicated for the surrounding businesses in Kemang area from café and restaurant owners, bank, building management and other hotels. The first session in the morning with speaker Mr. Ade Feisal Siregar from UNDSS (United Nations Department of Safety and Security) who shared his knowledge and experiences about the impacts of terrorism on your business. Continued with the second session with speaker from Samson Tiara, Mr. Dedy Muldiana who gave knowledge on emergency procedures in workplace, such in case of fire, earthquake and others. The last session was with topic by Tourism Police, Mr. Ipda Hadi Hidayat on bomb squad technics and procedures.

The full day seminar was ended with quiz and door prizes to participants. Followed with cocktail party at Vibar poolside for the sponsors and media partners who supported the “Safety Week”.

The objective thru “Safety Week” is for all participants to obtain all the knowledge and more awareness of the importance for safety and security in the business or in daily life, because those threats can happen to anyone, anywhere and to any businesses. The seminar was expected to also increase awareness on safety and security of Kemang and surrounding area. The event was possible with the help of Samson Tiara, BNI and CIMB Niaga for all parties support with the seminar. See you in “Safety Week 2016!”
