Crowne Plaza Jakarta conducted a training program for 6 students with hearing impaired from SLB Negeri 2 Jakarta on 29 July 2015. This program is part of a series of FB training provided by five (5) IHG properties in Jakarta and Bandung in cooperation with Yayasan Emmanuel. It is intended to further enhance their education with practical knowledge which may be useful for future career.
In the first session of training, the students were given a brief introduction about Crowne Plaza brand and key points of food safety management followed by preparing Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Fruit Tartlet guided by Chef Arry and Deli. Our bartender, Budiman, led the students to prepare a healthy mocktail, Semanggi Violet, made of purple cabbage. The training program ended with table manner training conducted by Beranda Café Manager, Saripudin.
