As part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) annual program, Crowne Plaza Jakarta organized a Corporate Responsibility (CR) Week from 17 – 21 August 2015. The purpose of this event is to demonstrate IHG commitment to protecting the environment through sustainability program which is one of the two pillars of IHG corporate responsibility agenda.
For the entire week, Crowne Plaza Jakarta held various fun sustainability activities such as Flower arrangement competition, Hydrophonic training, Green menu in Employee Dining Area, setting up Self Composting Facility, Skill Competition among students of IHG Academy program as well as webinar sessions of successful implementation of green solutions from Green Engage and hotel’s training under IHG Academy program in sister hotels in Asia and Middle East regions. By taking part in this event, staffs and colleagues were encouraged to create a greener hotel area and also to increase their awareness in the importance of protecting environment.
