Sopra is one place that serves the goodness of Italian home-style cooking in a contemporary manner. Located within the Street Gallery Pondok Indah, Sopra has been the favourite hangout spot at lunch time for the corporates to wine and dine their clients.
If you craved a good homemade pasta, the selection at Sopra is pretty good. You can find lamb ragout, ravioli, gnocchi and even an imported pasta selection wherein the ingredients are flown in straight from Napoli. The crab fettuccine in particular is quite appetizing. The whole crab is scooped out of its shell and the shell is used as a garnish to this eye adoring dish. The green fettuccine is then placed neatly inside the crab shell, and is smothered with the fresh homemade tomato sauce which is mixed with the crab meat. To add a bit of a kick to this dish, we recommend that you add a bit of dried chillies instead of tabasco sauce so as not to ruin the subtle and yet flavourful tomato sauce.
Aside from their stylish avant-garde interior of black leather, dark wood and dim light setting, it is their dishes, especially their thin and light pizzas that has been getting people into Sopra.
