WUSINWUG (What U See Is Not What U Get) is part of a long project by ICAD (Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design) this year. The theme seven scenes features 7 collaborative projects led by 7 creative practitioners from across disciplines. In WUSINWUG itself, 4 artists and designers collaborate to create a contemporary fashion exhibition, curated by Ika Vantiani. The artists are Anton Ismael (photography), Felicia Budi (fashion), Marishka Soekarna (visual art) and Tommy Ambiyo (fashion). ICAD exhibition featuring WUSINWUG and other projects can be visited until 7 December 2016 at Grandkemang Hotel.
ICAD 2016 is brought by Yayasan Design+Art Indonesia, and supported by Badan Ekonomi Kreatif Indonesia (BEKRAF), Atura Insanindo, Mesa Hotel and Resorts, and grandkemang Hotel Jakarta. To find out more about this project, visit www.arturaicad.com
