7 New Tables this November 2016

New dining spots to check out this month!

1. Attarine

Attarine, a brand new restaurant by one of the main players in Jakarta’s lifestyle constellation, The Potato Head group, is Jakarta’s youngest dining spot, located in one of the trendiest neighborhood of Gunawarman street. It has probably one of the most uncommon fusion of menu around, not limited to a certain region or taste. The restaurant’s decor is pretty cool too, which includes an actual classic car right in the middle of the restaurant, as some kind of center piece. You have got to check this one out soon!

Countless trendy cafes across town have sourced high quality baked product from Beau, in addition to their very own shop in Grand Indonesia. Recently, Beau opens up their new ‘headquarter’ that said to most reflect the brand, and the baker behind it. Drop by for equally awesome coffee and french pastries croissants.

A new udon house that shares the same area with the popular Japanese street steakhouse, Skipjack. Here, prices start from 25,000 for basic kake udon, to Rp. 68,000 for Salmon Teriyaki Donburi. Super affordable, isn’t it? This is definitely going to be our favourite Japanese comfort food destination!

6. GIOI

A new restaurant in Senopati that takes the label ‘farm to table’ very seriously. Serving mostly a fusion of Southeast Asian and Indonesian flavours, GIOI sources their vegetable from their own farm. We also love what they’ve done classic Indonesian dishes, such as their signature Salmon Lodeh (a traditional Indonesian coconut milk soup with pan fried salmon) and the Roast Duck Curry – Home made Thai curry, juicy and tender Sous Vide Duck breast, served with locally-sourced carrot, green tomato and eggplant. Must try!

7. Gentleben

Gentleben serves specialty coffee and pretty awesome brunch option. We love their pretty French Toast, with authentic brioche bread that are twice cooked to get that soft yet crunchy texture just right, then served with mascarpone cheese, Mango puree, fresh cut strawberries, pistachios and mixed berries compote. It’s pure French toast joy!
