For two limited weeks, Keraton at The Plaza Jakarta is presenting a rare chance for sweet fanatics of Jakarta to sample the sweet genius of Shaun Teo, one of Asia’s most celebrated ‘instabakers’ that is a food personality that went instagram-famous for his gorgeously out of the box baking creations.
Born and residing in Malaysia, Teo has made his name known not only to the Malaysian patisserie industry but also internationally in Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. Having baked since he was 18 years old, Teo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and Baking Technology and has practiced his skills in various luxury hotels in Malaysia before finally starting his own baking studio in Malaysia which has reached fandom with his unique pastry art that are visible through his instagram account, @shaunteocreations.
From unicorn to intergalactic themed cakes, Shaun breaks the common cake decorating grounds and make his own signature style. From 16 to 30th November 2016, you can sample Teo’s creations at Keraton at The Plaza’s Lobby Lounge in their limited ‘Sweet Luxury High Tea’ package which includes a three tier high tea set that consists of handmade mini berry tartlets, red velvet cupcake, and marbled chocolate coated cake pops exclusively prepared by Teo, along with some of Keraton at The Plaza’s executive chef’s Gennaro’s scones and savoury bites. As with Keraton’s mainstay High Tea selection, the Sweet Luxury High Tea also comes with a selection of premium TWG tea.
This high tea package is priced at Rp. 298,000++ per set, which can be enjoyed by two people. As with the other high tea packages, it can be enjoyed all day (9am-12am), every day of the week at the Keraton Lobby Lounge.
