Living with Art, A Commitment by Martell

From 28 November to 27 December 2016, Ambiente showroom is transformed into gallery art, showcasing artworks from 14 Indonesian emerging artists. Interestingly, visitors still will able to see some harmonious arrangements between tasteful Italian furniture and monochromatic art pieces. The exhibition is arranged by Martell, in collaboration with Art Dept Id. and Ambiente in Senopati.

martell_ambiente_1As a brand born in 1715, the glorious era for art and culture, Martell has a significant relationship with beauty, especially contemporary art. In fact, stands 3 Martell Cognac foundations: Art of Craftsmanship, Art of Tasting, and Art of Gastronomy. Every year Martell shows its commitments to the contemporary art by delivering exciting art exhibition, with a new and different concept every year.

martell_ambiente_3Through ‘Living with Art’, Martell hopes to inspire art enthusiast to collect arts and display it at their homes. “Sometimes we see art pieces as a lifeless object, and that is not entirely true. Art pieces arranged thoughtfully will enrich our daily life,” explained Edhi Sumadi, Managing Director Pernod Ricard Indonesia. Martell also hopes to give more opportunity to Indonesian contemporary artists, and contributes to the art industry in the country.

martell_ambiente_2There are total of 28 art pieces to be marveled, from paintings, photographs, to sculpture, all curated by Anita Boentarman. The 14 talented artists from Art Dept Id. involved in this project are Antonio Sinaga, Cempaka Surakusumah, Edita Atmaja, Eldwin Pradipta, Erwin Windu Pranata, Fia Meta Gabirela, Labadiou Piko, Irfan Hendrian, Kara Andrani, Mirfak Prabowo, Rebellionik, Rega Ayunda Putri, and Haikal Azizi and Zusfa Roihan.
