New Sweet Sensation at Deli, Intercontinental Jakarta Midplaza

Chef Beno has reinterpreted a number of classic cake recipes and added his own unique twist to create a selection of distinctive offerings. Each cake are made with a combination of local and imported ingredients. His cakes consist of more than 2 components, so guest can feel a different texture and flavor from every bite of his cake. As an expert in traditional cake making techniques, he also likes to switch things up a bit with his contemporary approach to presentation.

Chef Beno has spent the past 20 years perfecting the art of crafting delectable cakes and pastries that look just as good as they taste. Having worked for branded hotels in key travel destinations around the world, he has come to the conclusion that cake ultimately has the ability to make people happy.

apricot-lime-yoghurtAt Deli, Chef Beno is wooing customers with his lines of sweets. One of his hero cake is Caramel Coco Cake where guest can taste the tropical sensation of caramel and light coconut.

Other cakes includes the delicate Cappuccino Cake, Redberry Carmelia Frangipane where he combines the flavoursome red berries, White Choco Green Tea and many more. Chef Beno also pride himself with his soft and fluffy homemade Marshmallow where he says that everyone can actually make their own Marshmallow at home.

Exclusive cakes and treats by Chef Beno are available daily from The Deli located on the lower ground floor of InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza. All items can be expertly boxed to take away for special celebrations or sold by the slice to enjoy with a cup of gourmet coffee.
