Luke Mangan Brings #BrunchOfFun to Indonesia

Australian restaurateur and Friend of Australia, Luke Mangan is bringing Australia’s favourite Brunch Party across to Asia by hosting two brunch extravaganzas in Singapore and Jakarta over two separate days.  Highlighting amazing Australian produce, up and Coming Australian Talent and some of Australia’s most iconic locations and places, this cross continent Brunch party follows the viral success of Mangan’s #BrunchOfFun warehouse events in Sydney that drew crowds of up to 1000 people.

Placing a twist on NYC’s legendary boozy bottomless brunches, the #BRUNCHOFFUN will take over his sky-high Singaporean and Jakarta Salt grill restaurants that are respectively found on the 56th and 46th floors of some of the capitals most iconic towers.

Complete with copious amounts of “Bakin’, Brunch & Bubbles”, Mangan and his team will be hosting an exclusive four course Australian brunch that highlights Australia’s finest artisan suppliers, Australian Sparkling wines and a decadent array of Australian Inspired Desserts.

The #BrunchOfFun draws together some of Australia’s top baking and dessert talent. Leading the breakfast dessert path is the creator of the world’s most instagrammed cake, Christopher The from Blackstar Pastry, Australian Nitrogen gelato connoisseurs N2 gelato, the creator of Australia’s most gourmet doughnuts, Doughboy Doughnuts and Sydney home baker, Baked by Andres who’s imaginative desert designs have taken social media by storm.

“The Australian food and restaurant scene has never been in a more exciting position – and brunch is one of the stars of our culinary show” says Mangan.   “Our #BrunchOfFun parties, truly showcase the finest Australian produce, people and places, however it is our desert collaborators that are the real legends in these events. They are a creative bunch and all rising stars in the food scene in their own right. Through events like these I’m hoping we not only showcase the best of Australia but also inspire, raise the bar and open doors for up-and-coming talent for our hospitality industry.”

The event kicks off from 11am, with an intimate experience limited to only 70 guests.  It will involve Luke and the dessert brigade hosting a sit-down four course brunch degustation, complete with Australian sparkling wines and four desserts. From midday an additional 100 guests will be able to join with pre-purchase tickets to come and enjoy a range of desserts and Australian savoury treats for a three hour party experience, complete with Australian DJ, Duncan Bell spinning the latest tracks to keep the party going.
