Jakarta, 04 April 2017– Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere arrived in Indonesia on Thursday, March 30th 2017, welcomed by Kezia Warouw Puteri Indonesia 2016 and management of The Sultan Hotel & Residence. During her visit in Indonesia she stayed at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta from March 30th to April 4th, 2017 and spent some time with various activities in the hotel.

Iris Mittenaere attended the exclusive interview with media at Cendana Room, Lagoon Cafe on Saturday, April 1st 2017. She shared to the media about her journey to be the Miss Universe and staying experience at The Sultan Hotel with its truly Indonesian heritage ambience and the warmest service from the staff. After the interview, Iris enjoyed her lunch with signature dish and beverage of The Sultan Hotel, Sultan Nasi Goreng and Peek-a-boo, fresh mixed mango and lychee smoothies.
In the evening, Iris Mittenaere attended an exclusive dinner with Mr. I Nyoman Sarya as Vice President of Operations of Singgasana Hotel & Resorts and loyal guests. Dinner was also attended by Puteri Indonesia 2017 Bunga Jelitha Ibrani, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2017 Kevin Liliana, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2017 Karina Nadila Niab, dan Miss Grand International Indonesia 2017 Dea Goesti Rizkita.
On Sunday, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta introduced Indonesian culture to Iris Mittenaere by showing Balinese Gate and Temple also the beautiful Red Bridge at Lagoon Garden outdoors and experienced playing Gamelan in the hotel lobby. Afterwards, Iris Mittenaere, Puteri Indonesia 2017, and Puteri Pariwisata 2017 attended the Gala Dinner and Charity Night at Lagoon Garden with special performance by Daniel Powter – rising Canadian artist, songwriting vocalist and pianist. With a range of activities offered by The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere was able to feel the true Indonesian culture and the best hospitality.
