Anies – Sandi Won Jakarta Election | MAIFEST Coming Near You!

Dear Jakartans!

Jakarta Gov. Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama has conceded his loss in his re-election bid as real count results shows that contender Anies and Sandiaga have garnered 57,95 percent of the vote, while Ahok and Djarot lag behind with only 42,05 percent. Voter turnout in the second round of the Jakarta gubernatorial election on Wednesday reached 78 percent of the 7.2 million registered voters.

Ahok urged his supporters to move on and support the elected Governor to do the best for Jakarta. We can only hope for the best for our city and would like to thank the incumbent Governor for his service that will end October this year. Until today (26 April 2017) the Jakarta City Hall is still flooded with flowers arrangements and thousands of supporters that keep coming to pay respect to the Governor in person.
