Teratai Chinese Restaurant with Its Special Delicacies – Hotel Borobudur Jakarta

Bubur SeafoodThe newly renovated Teratai Restaurant at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, has gained its popularity amongst the Chinese Culinary Connoisseurs in Jakarta, through its wide selection menu and their heavenly tastes.

Three Chefs from Hong Kong, Alex Kwok – Executive Chinese Chef and Steven Low – Chinese Dim Sum Chef have brought their extensive experiences from Hong Kong and other places, to create luxurious, modern Cantonese dishes such as:

  • Trio Appetizer Sampler (Seared Goose Liver with Soya Honey, Fried Shrimp with Green Horseradish and Basil Seed, Crispy Roast Duck with Fresh Herb Salad)
  • Double-boiled mini “Buddha Jump Over The Wall”with Mushroom, Chicken, Scallop, Shark’s Fin and Abalone
  • Braised Bird’s Nest with Scrambled Egg, Crab Roe and Asparagus
  • Seared Foie Gras with Apple, Pok Choy and Honey Glaze
  • Tower of Prawn Roll with Sea Whelk Abalone braised Tofu and Crab Roe Egg Sauce.

  • Sweetened Bun with Egg Yolk Filling
  • Shanghainese Siew Long Bao Surprise

They also have variant of congee like pumpkin congee which is available for vegetarian, chicken with century egg congee and seafood congee that consist of shrimp, fish garoupa and scallop. All congee is provided with condiment.
