Dimatique, purveyor of fine wines in Indonesia, recently held a premium chateau wine dinner at at the Javanegra Gourmet Atelier showcasing three of Bordeaux’s best winemakers, Chateau Olivier, Chateau La Dominique, and Phelan Segur paired with the finest French cheeses from Bernard Antony Cheese Cellar.
Château Olivier, a Bordeaux wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation which was ranked among the Crus Classés de Graves for red and dry white wine in the Classification of Graves wine introduced Chateau Olivier Blanc, Chateau Dauphin d’Olivier Rouge, Chateau Olivier Rouge for the first time to Jakarta’s wine and cheese connoisseurs, paired with Chevre et Brebis: Goat & Sheep, Argentinean Beed & Spanish Iberico as well as Les Pates Dures: Hard Rim.
The second chateau that presented their wine was Chateau La Dominique, a Saint Emillion Grand Cru Classe classification, with their amazing Chateau la Dominique (2010 & 2013) both incredibly full-bodied and opulent wines, and their just as fantastic second lable, the Relais La Dominique 2013, from that was paired with the fruity Les Fleuries.
The third chateau that was introduced was the Chateau Phelan Segur, that has a vineyard area that extends 89 hectares in the heart of the village Saint Estephe, and famous for their exceptional vintages. That night, Veronique Dausse, director of from Chateau Phelan Segur presented the guests with 2006 and 2012 Chateau Phelan Segur and the 2011 Frank Phelan.
The dinner was a collaboration between Gwendeline Lucas from Chateau La Dominique, and Laurent Lebrun from Chateau Olivier, Veronique Dausse from Chateau Phelan Segur, and was also hosted by Indonesia’s renonwed Gastronom William Wongso, Chef Andrea Peresthu and Bernard Anthony’s The Artisanal Cheese, and supported by Javanegra Gourmet Atelier.
