Wardah cosmetics has always been a big supporter for Indonesia’s fashion industry. Through its annual program, Wardah Fashion Journey, the brand has a big commitment to give local designers shine with their own products. Also, together with local designers, Wardah aims to present a fashion trend in local and international fashion industry. This year, Wardah Fashion Journey continues in Indonesia Fashion Week 2018.
The program starts by holding beauty seminar at several schools in Jakarta. Encourage young generation to become a makeup artist as it is a very promising profession in Indonesia. Later on the program, Wardah will also introduce its new makeup collection, Sinar & Pijar. The collection is inspired by the beauty of Indonesia landscape, such as mountain, coastline, to the flora and fauna.
As the highlight, Wardah Fashion Journey collaborates with 8 local designers that will presenting their collections inspired by Wardah Sinar & Pijar makeup collection. They are Dian Pelangi, Zaskia Sungkar, Ria Miranda, Barli Asmara, Norma Hauri, ETU, Rani Hatta, dan Malik Moestram. The fashion show will be held on March 31st, 2018.
