Latteria Gelato is in another level of fun. They have crazy gelato flavors that incorporate nachos, banana and potato chips, baby biscuits (Milna Bubur Bayi!), and even Jager bombs! Crazy! This is a must visit coffee shop/ice cream parlor on your Menteng excursions; Not only that it is situated on the second floor of Jakarta’s oldest working theater building, the Metropole, it also has delicious ice cream to cool you down in a hot and humid day. We also love it’s spacious and cozy place too. They serve soft serve Indonesian-inspired ice cream: Es Teler, Gula Melaka, Java Tea, and Kopi Tubruk served on either flavored cone or waffle. Aah you had me at waffle and ice cream!

A cute coffee shop/gelateria in Barito area, located just across Le Maison Barito. It’s bright and minimalist interior has quickly attracted the hip South Jakarta youngsters. They will stick around too, enjoying Alphabeth’s dessert waffles, coffee, and of course, colorful gelato.
