Nostalgia with The 90’s Festival

For the third time, The 90’s Festival has brought the 90’s kids together to enjoy hit music of their time. With the theme “Big Reunion”, the festival was held at Gambir Expo, Kemayoran, on 25 November this year.

At the festival, the crowds were able to enjoy performances from a total of four main stages. The topped stage featured some of the best artists in the 90s; Sixpence None The Richer, Dewa 19 feat Ari Lasso, T-Five, Shaden, Warang, and Reza Artamevia. At Hardtop Stage, Viewmaster Stage, and 90’s Icon Stage, the line ups were as exciting; KLa Project, Potret, P Project, Base Jam, Voodoo, Stinky, Purpose, Yana Julio, and many more.

Not only bringing live music to the venue, The 90’s Festival also provided the good old time experience in two categories. In package A, there are Gamebot Brick Game, Tamagoichi, and the mint legendary Davos candy. While in package B, the crowds can play with a wooden yoyo, Lego mini shet, Doraemon bamboo-copter, and feet candy from Hot-Hot Pop.

Communities around Jakarta were also invited to escalate the 90s vibe. They were bringing some of the iconic games such as Tamiya and Dingdongs, which can be played in the Game Zone during the festival. Other local communities brought films, literature, culinary, and of course, colorful fashion from the 90s.

The music festival is supported by Tokopedia, one of the biggest marketplaces in Indonesia, by giving out free vouchers, opening a karaoke booth, and giving a rare chance to meet and greet some artists. The online transportation company, Grab, also participates as the official ride buddy to create a smoother experience. Grab opened a fun booth with a lounge that provides some 90s games and refreshments.
