The Sultan Hotel & Residence has been appointed as the official hotel for Puteri Indonesia 2017. Even more special with the presence of 38 finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2017 who stayed from March 23 rd to April 1 st and spent some activities in the hotel from choreography practices, classes, sharing session to the healthy activities during Car Free Day.

The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta have same vision to maintain Indonesian culture and introduce the concept of this culture to the world. We always support Indonesian young generations that bring Indonesian name to go international like Puteri Indonesia” said Mr. I Nyoman Sarya, Vice President Operations of Singgasana Hotel & Resorts.
The presence of Puteri Indonesia made weekends at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta more enticing. Guests who stayed in the hotel can join and experience the activities with the beauty pageants. The event began with healthy activity on Car Free Day with Puteri Indonesia 2017 started from The Sultan Hotel to the Senayan area and Semanggi.
After that, finalists continue their activities to Yayasan Sayap Ibu Jakarta. This foundation established since 1955 and focused to help chilld that is abandoned and did not have parents or relatives. The warm and heartfelt ambience was felt during activities at Yayasan Sayap Ibu. Yayasan Puteri Indonesia was donating children’s book and The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta was donating pillows.
This activity is one of CSR program by The Sultan Hotel called "Sultan Care" which has been supporting and concerning people in need. This moment is a form of appreciation from The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta to the children at Yayasan Sayap Ibu to continue generating their positive spirit because it turns out they have strengths and talents that can be motivated for their future.
The finalists also entertained and encouraged children to sing and play in the playground area and the rooms. While listening to children story and watch their performance at Yayasan Sayap Ibu, touching and inspiring ambiance was felt.
The upcoming excitement, still in conjunction with Puteri Indonesia 2017, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta will host “Gala Dinner with Iris Mittenaere, Miss Universe 2016”. This event will be held at Lagoon Garden on Sunday, April 2nd , 2017 with special performance by Daniel Powter – rising Canadian artist, songwriting vocalist and pianist; also attended by Puteri Indonesia 2017 and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2017.
