Jakarta, 29 November 2016 – The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta is pleased to announce the tallest Batik designed Teddy Bear Christmas tree for this year’s festive season. Taking inspiration from Indonesian culture and adding Local glamorous festive touches to Christmas tree and various areas of the hotel. The Park Lane Hotel is proud to be collaborating with Batik Semar, a stalwart Indonesian Batik industry located in Central Java.
The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta launched the ceremony of the hotel’s Beary Christmas Tree as the tallest Christmas tree consists of one thousand teddy bear. The ceremony will takes place in the hotel lobby on 29 November 2016. Guests, media friends, YAI Founder (Yayasan Anyo Indonesia) and kids from Anyo, CEO of Batik Semar, and Miss Tourism Indonesia attended the Launching Ceremony.
The Beary Christmas tree is wrapped by one thousand Teddy bear in Batik Semar and The Park Lane shirt proudly designed and created by Indonesian local product. Beautified by 39 forsythia flowers, with the height of 9 meter and 2.65 meter diameter, this magical Christmas tree was built in 7 days as a result of solid team work from all departments related. These teddy bears will be available for charity sale. These teddy bears will be sold for Rp. 100.000, – for 1 (one) teddy bear and IDR 150.000, – for 2 (two) teddy bears. All the funds raised will proceeds to YAI (Yayasan Anyo Indonesia) as a charity donation. The Beary Christmas tree also designed with an Angel Number. One thousand teddy bear placed in Christmas tree is divided by 9 meter (height), produce a unique number. It’s called an Angel numbers “1111”, which means it encourages us to look to new beginnings, new opportunities with a positive way, optimistic attitude, initiative, and motivation creation.
