The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place is proud to be awarded Best City Hotel – Jakarta by TTG Travel Awards. It is the highest honor to be named Best City Hotel twice, in 2011 and 2017 from Asia Pacific’s Most Prestigious Travel Industry Awards since 1989. The awards ceremony and gala dinner was held at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Center at Central World on 28th September 2017.
Attended by Minister of Tourism of Indonesia, hoteliers, travel agents, and various medias, the 2017 awards ceremony features some of the industry’s most renowned personalities across Asia Pacific. This year marks the 28th Annual TTG Travel Awards, and now it holds the reputation as the most coveted and influential regional awards.

The winner for Best City Hotel category is voted by readers of TTG Travel Trade Publishing’s print and online titles such as TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China, TTGassociations and TTG Asia Luxury. Voting is done through both online portals and printed forms and has no pre-nominated contenders therefore voters are free to nominate any hotel they perceive deserves the award.
Travel consultants, tour operators, and destination management companies are also encouraged to vote.
The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place name is now engraved in their signature trophy, a statuette of Hermes, the God of Travel in ancient Greek mythology. Weighing a total of 2kg, the trophy is casted in solid pewter and plated in 24K gold. The Hermes trophy is now an icon of TTG Travel Awards.
