Le Meridien Jakarta celebrated international coffee day on the 1st of October with new perspective event “Ngopi Bareng Ngobrol Seru”, highlighting the culture and tradition of coffee-making inviting some of the country’s most well-known baristas and coffee lovers. Located at the Rendez-Vous Lobby Lounge, the atmosphere was warm and homey as people from all walks of life get together for the love of coffee.
Collaborating with illy coffee as the hotel’s global coffee partner, the event was a gathering of coffee-lovers, media, bloggers and was also attended by Pramudya Bevan, illy representative and master barista, the event focused on latte art the more serious side of coffee culture. A coffee social media influencer, Steven Setiono was also present as keynote speaker sharing his experience in taking coffee-themed photos for Instagram.
