The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta Appoints Fadjri Roesman as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing

Jakarta, 29 October 2015 – The  Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta is pleased to announce the appointment of Fadjri Roesman to the position of Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for two luxury hotels under Singgasana Group, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta and Ayodya Resort Bali. Mr. Fadjri will look after Sales, Marketing Communication and E-Commerce as well as responsible to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments toward maximizing the hotel’s revenue.

Mr. Fadjri has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and earned a degree in Foreign Language Academy ABA Indonesia and Wisakti International Tourism Institute. Most recently as Director of Sales at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, Mr. Fadjri was responsible for sales efforts and optimized team performance during his tenure. His biggest achievement when he was handling Bali Democracy Forum 2014 – an annual, inclusive and open intergovernmental forum on the development of democracy in the Asia Pacific Region.

Began his career at Hotel Borobudur Inter-Continental Jakarta in 1991 as an Assistant Director of Sales and Catering, Mr. Fadjri always bring results driven leadership skills, enterprising marketing expertise, and strong background of developing, guiding and retaining high performance teams within an organization.

Mr. Fadjri who was born on July 8th, 1969 has several experiences as a Director of Sales and Marketing starting from 2004 at Sol Elite Marbella and at Redtop Hotel in 2005. Most recently in 2011, he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, representing a portfolio of two properties, Le Meridien Jakarta and Sheraton Bandara. He has been appointed as a Starwood Sales Trainer for Indonesia Region also a champion to drive Starwood Sales and Marketing initiatives (Starwood Global Sales Blitz) in Indonesia for two years in a row.
