JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta welcomes Francisco Holmes-Brown as the new Executive Chef. Chef Francisco who is also known to have an excellent communication skills graduated from University of Social Science & Business and Gastronomic Institute of Argentina, the country where he grew up.
Francisco started his career with Marriott International big family in mid-2000 when he was appointed as Chef De Cuisine at Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartment in Dubai. From there he moved to Oman to open the first Marriott hotel in the country joining the kitchen team of Salalah Marriott Resort & Spa as their Executive Sous Chef. Moving up the ladder Chef Francisco then spent a few years taking the lead as the Executive Chef at the lush tropical Miri Marriott Resort & Spa, Malaysia prior to his arrival at JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta.
In his new post with the five star luxury hotel located in Mega Kuningan Jakarta, Chef Francisco will be leading the entire cuisine experience at the hotel including the award winning restaurants: all-day dining Sailendra, Pearl – the authentic Cantonese restaurant, Asuka Japanese dining and Blü Martini Lounge & Bar. He will also look after banquet operations at the hotel for various corporate functions and social gatherings including company celebrations and weddings.
