Hotel Gran Mahakam held an appreciation dinner for media at the new refurbished Magnolia Ballroom on last Wednesday, 7th October 2015.
The event was held from 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. started with the selections of canapés: Black Onde-Onde, Macaroon and Risoles Mahakam paired with Moscat D’Bali from Sababay Winery. The set menu dinner started with a splendid food parade by Hotel Gran Mahakam cater the appetizer: Lobster Salad and Crispy Eel with Sesame Salad followed by Fresh Crab Hand Roll. Edamame Cream Soup with Lobster Tail, Selections of Barramundi with White Wine Sauce or Spicy Tenderloin Beef and the signature Nasi Daun Jeruk are served to spoil the appetites of the guests. As for the dessert, Hotel Gran Mahakam served Es Kopyor on Ice Bowl and Chocolate Melt with Vanilla Ice Cream to complete the set menu dinner.
The event was memorable and full of laughter; there are 35 persons from media in Jakarta Medias and Dave Hendrik as the master of ceremony. There were many surprises during the night but the biggest surprise was the complimentary flight tickets and accommodation for 3 days 2 nights stay for 2 persons with destinations Jakarta – Japan – Jakarta. This prize was presented by Hotel Gran Mahakam and Alternative Media Group and it goes to Mr. Kicky Alexander from Le Mariage. The event also supported by Alternative Media Group, Sababay Winery, Western Australia, Tourism Australia, Lampe Berger and Clinique Suisse.
