Media Appreciation Night, Mercure Jakarta Simatupang Introduced Executive Chef Noldy Herling

Jakarta, 18 Juli 2017 – Mercure Jakarta Simatupang has had an exceptional 4.5 years journey across the board in the business hotel segment in South Jakarta. Recognising the solid support that led to the performance, Mercure Jakarta Simatupang took the time and place to personally thank the media at a special appreciation night titled “A Warm Media Get Together at Karumba Rooftop” last Tuesday, 18th July 2017 at their exceptional rooftop bar, Karumba.

The whole rooftop was adorned by tropical decorations and more than 40 media invitees were wearing the summer beach dress code of florals and bright colors. “It has been a fantastic journey, and we are thankful for the support of our valued guests, partners, and most importantly, our esteemed media friends. We greatly value this relationship, and it is great to be able to exchange views and opinions,” said Marketing Communications Manager, Intan Purwaning.

Highlighting the event, they also introduced the newly joined Executive Chef Noldy Herling presenting a cooking demonstration of his two unique dishes : Chicken Infused Coffee, and Heineken Fried Rice. Starting his career in Manado, Chef Noldy is one of the most humble and respectable chefs in the industry today. His strong leadership, leveraging on the importance of teamwork, allows him to head his team especially 9 years in AccorHotels.

Later in the evening, the super talented ladies from Front Office, Sales & Marketing Departments presented 10 stylish looks by (X)SML on a beautiful fashion show runway, followed by a business presentation by Director of Sales & Marketing – Rizky Corleon. And surely all media friends had a blast when lucky draw quiz was brought, to be then finally finished by Grand Prize game to win Jakarta-Bali-Jakarta airline tickets for 2 persons, and 2 nights accommodations in Novotel Bali Benoa.
