New places you gotta check out this month!
1. Tucano’s Churrascaria Brasileira
A new Brazilian style Steakhouse (Churrascaria) by Chef Aldecy Bastos. Churrasco refers to beef or grilled meat in general, but in a Churrascaria, mostly the waiters move around the restaurant with the skewers, slicing meat onto the client’s plate. The first in Jakarta!

4. Samsara
Located smack-dab in the heart of Jakarta’s South, Samsara is a haven for those who love good culinary adventure, art, culture and everything in between. The restaurant’s moody ambiance with Ida Bagus Indra’s painting as its centerpiece exudes a magical sense of togetherness and mystery. The restaurant is decorated in heavy décor that speaks class and screams luxury, but don’t be fooled, Samsara is not a fine-dining establishment, here they serve good Indonesian cuisine, by staying true to the culture, staying true to the history and staying true to originality.

6. Di Bawah Tangga, Gandaria City
This cafe doesn’t beat around the bush and literally call themselves ‘under the stairs’, referring to their location under one of Gandaria City’s escalator in an outside lobby area. They are hopping on the cheap but good-o iced coffee milk hype that’s taking Jakarta by storm since Kopi Tuku’s Es Kopi Tetangga. DBT’s version of iced milk coffee, Es Kopi Susu Kampung, is only Rp. 19,000. Great for a hot day.
