Wanting to encourage people to embrace their natural hair, Kerastase has launched another line of products that specially made with women with curls in mind. The products called Discipline Curl, aim to tackle some problem curl hairs usually have, such as frizzy and easy to break, and creating better definition and elasticity to them. They can be used both for natural curls and temporary curls.
All Discipline Curl products consist of Pro-Keratine, a patented molecule with 3 amino acids, wheat protein and ceramide that will make hair surface smooth. More importantly, the products are less in detergent and chemicals that are not suitable for curly hairs, which of course have a really different anatomy compared to straight hairs.
The products ranged from hair cleansing to styling crème and mousse; Cleansing Conditioner Curl Ideal, Masque Curl Ideal, Oleo Curl crème, and Mousse Curl Ideal. For styling products, Kerastase encouraged women to consult with professional hairdresser first, as different thickness of curls will affect the final results.
Aside from launching the products, Kerastase also had a presentation, sharing, and Q&A sessions with media and guests at La Madame Jakarta about curly hairs. In the same occasion, the international brand also launched The Book of Curls, where women can find tons of information about their hairs, including how to take care and style them creatively.
