July 23rd, 2016 – Century Park Hotel, a four-star business hotel at Senayan – Jakarta held a “Career Day” on July 23rd to celebrate the National Children’s Day. The event was a collaboration with “HORE” (House of Reading and education) foundation, a non-profit education organization, whose mission is to help children in need in planning their future career.
Twenty (20) children from “HORE” foundation were given an opportunity to visit every department in the hotel, like: front office, sales marketing, housekeeping, engineering, laundry, security as well as food and beverage. “It is an honor for us to be able to inspire and at the same time provide an overview about all careers available in the hospitality industry forthis next generation.” said Mr. Ardhana Widianto – Century Park Hotel’s F & B manager.
In addition to hotel tour, the children were also treated in a fun cooking class with Century Park Hotel’s culinary team to create their own pizza. “Career day event is our second corporate social responsibility activity this year and we have committed to hold similar events in the upcoming years.” added by Mr. Ardhana at the end of “Career Day” event.
