As part of the hotel’s “When Jakarta Meets London – Bringing The Heritage of The Savoy To The City” program from the twenty-five to the twenty-seventh of August, The Fairmont Jakarta is please to announce that in conjunction with the promotion, the institution will be inviting guest mixologist and chef from the world-famous The Savoy London for an inter-cultural experience of the classic Savoy London hospitality culture. A trait that its sister hotel, The Fairmont Jakarta, have been so proudly and passionately uphold.
The legendary Beaufort Bar at The Savoy London has been home to many great names like Coco Channel, Ernest Hemingway, Frank Sinatra and countless others.
One of the highlight of the event is definitely the Bar Takeover, as Beaufort’s Bar (of The Savoy London) mixologist Witek Wojaczek will be helming Barong Bar on the 25th of August with his essential cocktails selections that has made Beaufort Bar of The Savoy London, an institution of its own. Wojaczek is a renowned bartender with prestigious accolades from the hospitality world such as receiving the coveted prize for UK at the Paris Cocktail Competition 2016, among others. He is guaranteed to bring over his signature Beaufort Bar cocktail series such as Hanky Panky and Moonwalk, to name a few.
