Donald Wingell joins the Crowne Plaza Jakarta as Executive Assistant Manager. His last role was with IHG as Food and Beverage Director for Performance and Support for South West Asia and was based in Gurgaon, India.
Donald is on the AMEA F&B Committee and will also be working closely with all operating and new hotels across Indonesia to improve their F&B performance.
Donald has more than 24 years of hotel operations experience having worked for luxury hotel brands such as Fairmont and Shangri-La. He has successfully demonstrated his ‘entrepreneur’ skills by balancing the brand and owner profits by delivering on metrics through innovative sales strategies, collaborative working style, ‘hands-on approach’ and outstanding ability to successfully lead culturally diverse teams across various geographies – India, Canada, Egypt, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai, China.
