Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta has announced that, as part of its continuous commitment to support the community and the public in general, it will support Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Executive Chef Mathias Olsson has created a special cake as well as macarons and pralines to be sold throughout the month. A portion of the proceeds will then be donated to the local breast cancer foundation LOVEPINK Indonesia. The foundation focuses on awareness campaigns as well as providing free breast check-ups around the city.
Other support will see staff from the hotel participating in the Jakarta Goes Pink fun walk on October 9, while hotel front-liners will wear pink ribbon pins to increase sales of the hotel’s pink pastries. The hotel will also use its social media channels to boost education about breast cancer throughout October.
