MVB Indonesia Introduces Five Responsible Businesses as Models

In order to increase public awareness of the importance of supporting companies that have good business practices, The World’s Most Valued Business (MVB) Indonesia, an independent program that supports good business ethics and promotes transparency, held a Press Conference event to share information about the progress of the program this year on May 9, 2017 which took place at Raffles Hotel Jakarta. MVB Indonesia Ambassador, Daniel Mananta, was present to explain directly about his role and the involvement of his clothing line, DAMN! I Love Indonesia, in the MVB 2017 program.

“Many companies are now starting to realize that brand and image building alone are not enough but actions that show genuine concern for employees, the community, the environment, the country and the planet.  Unfortunately many companies in Indonesia still do not know how to convey this good message to the public. This is what inspired us to act as a communication channel to the concerned audiences, ” explained Alistair Speirs The Chairman of MVB Indonesia.

In this Press Conference, five members of MVB Indonesia 2017 were the chosen representatives in presenting their sustainable business programs they have a good collaboration with MVB Indonesia in pursuing responsible programs for their employees, surrounding communities and the environment in which they operate. The five members are Daniel Mananta – CEO of DAMN! I Love Indonesia, Evy Gozali as CEO of PT. Sababay Industry, Kevin Kumalaputra as CEO of PT. Nirwana Alam hijau (AVANI), Royanto Handaya as CEO of PT. Panorama JTB Tours Indonesia and Nila Maharani as HR Manager of PT. Brother International Sales Indonesia.

2017 is the second year for MVB to run its programs in Indonesia, with the aim of increasing awareness for business people to understand and care more about conducting sustainable business practices. The vision and mission of the MVB program that is to bring the business climate in this country to a more sustainable future, by showing how real companies doing real business can be successful and sustainable and responsible. There is no need for compromise” said Speirs “Doing good really is good for your business”.
