Okay perhaps not everything goes as planned, and not everything is exactly the way we want them to be, but there is always a silver lining to a rather cloudy day. After the guilty verdict that befalls our beloved governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, we must now fall victim to religious intolerance in our beloved capital.
But again, every cloudy day has its moment, and it is only right for us to keep being optimistic and to keep moving forward doing good deeds to another. And as the Jakarta Gubernatorial Election slowly fades, we all hope that we can be a more mature human being, a better part humanity, not only because of our persistence in believing what’s right, but also because of all the differences that we have. Celebrate diversity! Do not condemn it in the name of anything holy. After all God teaches us to be just.
So what about what’s new in Jakarta? There are a lot of things happening in the capital this week, apart from the opening of the new Ismaya Group concert venue/event space The Establishment, we are also updating our content scope. From now on you can check a lot of things cool on whatsnewjakarta.com and whatsnewbali.com, plus you will be treated to an array of great promos and good articles. What’s more is our upcoming video section, which we ourselves eagerly anticipate.
