For this Ramadan, Bengawan estaurant at Keraton at The Plaza offers a better than ever buffet spread to enjoy for iftar or breakfasting. Their newly on board Executive Chef, Syaiful Bahri has cooked up a great mix of Indonesian favorites and middle eastern varieties.
Enjoy middle eastern mezze platter, salad, and also fried items like samosas, falafel, and of course gorengan (fried sweet and savory snacks) from the Indonesian kitchen.
The new favorite though, would be the spread of barbecued meats and satays; from Maranggi beef satay, seafood, chicken kebabs, and many more, all cooked a la minute by the chefs.
In addition to the sushi station and shawarma station, there will also be a spread of classic Indonesian nasi campur that will be a hit for Indonesian food lover.
We also love the desserts section that offers Indonesian and Middle Eastern classics such as es pisang hijau, om Ali, lapis, and of course the traditional Kolak (sweet coconut milk stew with a mix of plantain and sometimes sweet potatoes).
The buffet is available for iftar, or fast breaking, for IDR 399,000++ per person.
