Indonesia Hotel General Manager Association (IHGMA) celebrates their first anniversary by holding spectacular events at the same time in across Indonesia. IHGMA is officially formed on 20 April 2016. Right now IHGMA has 21 chapter and 800 members from manager level to general manager from many villas and hotels.
In Jakarta the event is celebrated at Hotel Grand Cempaka, where participants are encouraged to wear traditional Betawi dress. During the special evening, everyone could enjoy dance performance, music performance, and delicious foods prepared by the hotel.
In accord with IHGMA’s mission and vision, the first anniversary has an optimistic theme; “With the Spirit of IHGMA First Anniversary, We improve our Solidarity and Quality of human resources in Hospitality and Tourism, Which Are Qualified and Sustainable.”
The theme will remind members the responsibility to help the government achieving its tourism target, which is 20 million international tourists in 5 years ahead. IHGMA also asks every General Manager participating in IHGMA to have more concern and solidarity in helping neighborhood around their hotels.
Other activities by IHGMA to celebrate their anniversaries are Food Festival by Lampung Chapter, Mahakam River Expedition by Samarinda Chapter, IHGMA Sales & Marketing Workshop by Banten Chapter, and many more.
