Morotai island is part of Halmahera islands in North Maluku Province. It is a beautiful area with rich seas, colorful tradition, and big potential for a successful water tourism. However, the fact is, Morotai is still an underdeveloped area that also considered isolated. Unfortunately, In Morotai, awareness on the importance of education is low and the facilities for improvement is lacking.

To support them, Help Morotai Indonesia Community is holding 1001 for Morotai #helpmorotai; a giveaway of 1000 books and one environmental action on 2 – 3 May 2017 at BPD Faila elementary school and a visit to some other schools at Morotai. For anyone who interested to help, they can simply donate some items such as books, sports equipment, stationary, or cash.

Help Morotai Indonesia Community was founded in 2011 with a mission to improve children’s life conditions, awareness on children’s education and environment, especially in Morotai Island.
