Held annually in cities around Indonesia, Study UK Exhibition is back this year in Jakarta (4-5 March 2017), Surabaya (7 March), and Yogyakarta (9 March). During the expo, visitors can meet representatives of 60 UK institutions that will answer questions about studying in the UK.
The event gained many interests, as UK itself has been one of the three most popular higher education destinations for Indonesian students for its reputation. Not only to Indonesia, UK higher education institutions are popular worldwide, and thus a great percentage of its students are coming for overseas. This creates a good opportunity for students to learn different cultures and create a bigger network during their time in UK.
Moazzam Malik, British Ambassador to Indonesia, also sees this as an opportunity for UK to be part of Indonesia’s rapid development to a better future. After all, it is predicted that in 10 to 20 years, Indonesia will rank in top ten world’s biggest economy. UK hopes to support this through its education institutions, where it clearly shows at the insightful Study UK Exhibition 2017 that successfully organized by British Council.
