Irish National Day or St. Patric’s Day is always celebrated all around the world with a lot of enthusiasm, and Indonesia is not an exception. At Mandarin Oriental Grand Ballroom, ambassadors and other respected guests can enjoy an array of the countries’ cuisine, as well as drinks, especially from Guinness which has its own booth.
The happy celebration is also a big opportunity for Ireland to promote its country. Through ‘Promote Ireland’ programme for 2017, 27 Ministers and Ministers of State taking part in business events and high-level political meetings in different 27 countries.
Visiting Indonesia for couple of days is Minister of State David Stanton, who also made an appearance at the St Patric’s Day celebration at Mandarin Oriental yesterday. After visiting Universitas Indonesia, the minister is impressed by the politeness and warmness, and the most important, the brimming potentials from the students.
