One of the oldest Scotch Whisky company in the word, Chivas Regal, just launched its newest product in Indonesia at Fable Jakarta. Yes, finally, Whisky enthusiast in Jakarta can try the new Chivas Regal Extra.
Extra taste from the whisky comes from a rare Malt Whisky which processed through a sherry cask from the Oloroso Sherry bodegas in Spain. It stands between the Chivas Regal 12 and Chivas Regal 18 in terms of strength and price. Interestingly, different from other products, the exact age of the Whiskey is concealed. Despite that, Edhi Sumadi, Managing Director PT Pernod Ricard Indonesia assure us that Chivas Regal Extra’s quality is always controlled.
Chivas Regal Extra has a smooth tasting notes, with a dark gold colour and warm spark. It also completed with a sweet and fruity aroma from pear, melon, creamy toffee, milk chocolate, cinnamon, and a dash of ginger.
“From the event, we hope Chivas Regal Extra can be embraced by the middle-class segment which has not been reached by Chivas Regal before, and hopefully Chivas Regal Extra will be popular in Whisky enthusiast community as well,” said Edhi.
